The heat controller wall is unique to the hookah market. At the top diameter of the wall, there are 2 slots for convenient and safe use of tongs. The wall has a stepped shape on both sides to accommodate 4 coals in three variations:
1. High heat intensity: 2 top charcoals are placed edge-wise into a V-shaped cut on the wall.
2. Medium heat intensity: 2 top charcoals are placed edge-wise over the V-shaped cut on the wall.
3. Low heat intensity: 2 top charcoals are placed edge-wise on the "ears" with slots for tongs.
This variability in heat control helps achieve the desired temperature mode for any tobacco and packing type.
A large number of holes at the bottom ensure good air circulation and even heat distribution throughout the mixture. The ridged bottom increases air circulation between the coal and the base, preventing the coal from dying out.
